Kayla Hamilton

 Hi, I'm Kayla. 

This whole project started with my mom, who lives with my husband, my daughter, and me. She's getting older, and there's never been a good way to remember everything she's gone through. Because of my background in pharmacy, I always helped her keep a Medication Snapshot in her pocket, especially when she traveled. In 2025, she was staying in another state with my sister when she became confused and weak. EMS were called — she ended up in the hospital for three days with sepsis that snuck up on her. Thankfully, she had her Medication Snapshot, which was helpful to the EMTs and doctors, but we realized a Health Snapshot would keep her safe if she were unable to tell her own story.

It's been a journey getting to this point. I started in the performing arts, worked in print media, and then fell in love with pharmacy informatics. My work in layout design and copy editing has been nationally recognized, and I was published while pursuing my doctorate. I use the skills I've gained along my path to help my clients and patients.
